Gordon Finnegan

Previous to Bootpack, Gordon worked at First Western Trust, a private bank and investment manager in Jackson Hole. As a Junior Portfolio Manager on Jackson’s Investment Management team, Gordon was responsible for supporting all aspects of a private bank's wealth management capacity; financial planning, portfolio development, trust navigation, and implementation of First Western Trust’s customized investment management strategies. Strategies included proprietary funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, and both private and public assets. Before joining First Western Trust, Gordon founded and ran his own company Alta Voltaics, which was nationally recognized for state and federal grant writing in renewable energy development.

Gordon is an active member of the Greater Teton community. Having attended Journeys School while growing up in Teton Valley, Gordon is now a member of the Teton Science Schools Board of Directors. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Silicon Couloir where, for the past four years, he has helped run the annual Pitch Day, monthly Angel Mentor Group, and quarterly Professional Athlete Entrepreneur Program. Depending on the season, Gordon can often be found in the mountains on dirt, snow, or water.

Gordon holds a BA from St. Olaf College in Economics and Finance, where he minored in Scandinavian Studies after studying International Finance in Norway.
